By accessing or using the Tasman Star Seafood website at tasmanstarseafoodmarket.com.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. About Us

Tasman Star Distribution Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates a premium seafood retail and wholesale business with stores at 5-7 Olsen Ave, Labrador QLD 4215 and 20 Casua Dr, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227.

3. Orders and Payments

All orders placed through our website are subject to availability and acceptance. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

4. Product Information

We make every effort to accurately describe our seafood products, including weight, species, and origin. Due to the nature of fresh seafood, product availability and appearance may vary. Images are representative only.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of fresh seafood, we are generally unable to accept returns. However, your satisfaction is important to us:

• Quality issues: If you receive a product that does not meet our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs of the product. We will assess the issue and offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
• Incorrect orders: If you receive the wrong items, please contact us within 24 hours and we will arrange a replacement or full refund.
• Refund method:Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

6. Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at admin@tasmanstarseafood.com or by phone. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of our products. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed to your original payment method.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Tasman Star Distribution Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Tasman Star Distribution Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services purchased.
