From the Boats to Your Door — How It Works
Tasman Star Seafood is a vertically integrated seafood business — one of the few on the Gold Coast that controls the supply chain from ocean to retail. The commercial fishing fleet, including the Peter K prawn trawler, fishes Queensland coastal waters and delivers wild-caught product directly to the Labrador processing facility, bypassing the wholesale market. Sydney Fish Market buyers supplement the range daily, ensuring the broadest Australian species selection.
From Labrador, Tasman Star's own refrigerated transport fleet distributes to two Gold Coast retail stores (Labrador and Varsity Lakes), Gold Coast home delivery customers (Monday, Tuesday, Friday), Northern Rivers NSW delivery customers (Tuesday, Friday), wholesale trade customers across South East Queensland and the Northern Rivers, and commercial freight clients across Queensland, NSW, and Victoria via Tasman Star Freight.
