
Korean BBQ Baby Octopus
Gold Coast baby octopus char-grilled in a sweet Korean marinade and finished with sriracha mayo. Sticky, smoky and ready in under 20 minutes.

Everything you'll need
- 1 kg Baby octopus$24.90
- 3 tbsp Sriracha mayo$16.00
- 3 tbsp Sweet soy sauce$4.50
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp, grated Fresh ginger
- to serve Spring onions and sesame seeds
The method

Rinse the baby octopus and pat dry. Mix the sweet soy sauce, sesame oil and grated ginger in a bowl. Add the octopus, toss to coat and marinate for 10 minutes.

Heat a grill pan or barbecue to very high heat. Grill the octopus in a single layer for 3 to 4 minutes per side until charred and caramelised.

Transfer to a plate and drizzle generously with sriracha mayo.

Finish with sliced spring onions and a scatter of sesame seeds. Serve with steamed rice.
