
Spanner Crab with Garlic Butter
Queensland spanner crab halves warmed in garlic butter and finished with lemon. No fuss, just great crab.

Everything you'll need
- 2 crabs Cooked spanner crabs$17.90
- 3 tbsp Garlic butter$8.00
- 2, cut into wedges Lemons$4.00
- a handful, roughly chopped Fresh parsley
- to serve Crusty bread
The method

Split each spanner crab in half and remove the gills. Crack the claws with the back of a heavy knife so the butter can get in.

Melt the garlic butter in a wide pan over medium heat until foaming.

Add the crab pieces cut side down and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, spooning butter over the top as they warm through.

Transfer to a serving plate and pour any remaining butter over the crab.

Squeeze over the lemon, scatter with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
