Tasman Star Seafood stocks a carefully selected range of fresh merch, sourced from Australian fisheries and trusted international partners. Every product is handled under strict cold-chain protocols, from the landing dock at our Gold Coast facility to your door. We deliver 7 days a week across the Gold Coast and on Tuesday and Friday to Northern Rivers NSW; pre-order by 2pm the prior day. Our range is curated for quality over volume: if it is on our shelf, we have tasted it and we stand behind it. Storage
Keep merch refrigerated at 0–4°C and follow the use-by date on the pack. For longer storage, freeze in airtight portions at –18°C. Never refreeze previously thawed seafood.
Serving
Pair merch with simple accompaniments (fresh lemon, good olive oil and a cold-climate white wine) to let the natural flavour lead. Cook from chilled (not frozen) for best texture.

Is your merch Australian?
Wherever possible, yes. Every product on our shelf is labelled with its country of origin. We prioritise Australian-sourced merch from Queensland, NSW and Tasmanian fisheries, and supplement with certified international suppliers when seasonal availability requires it.
How fresh is the merch when it arrives?
We dispatch 7 days a week on the Gold Coast (and Tuesday/Friday to Northern Rivers NSW) using temperature-controlled vehicles and insulated packaging. Most merch arrives within 24–48 hours of landing at our Gold Coast facility. The use-by date on each pack reflects actual cold-chain tracking, not a generic estimate.
Can I order merch for same-week delivery on the Gold Coast?
Yes. Gold Coast delivery runs 7 days a week. Order before 2pm the day prior to your chosen delivery day. We deliver across Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads, Robina, Varsity Lakes, Southport and the Northern Rivers (Tuesday and Friday). Add your suburb at checkout to confirm coverage.
Do you deliver to the Gold Coast?
Yes. We deliver fresh seafood 7 days a week across the Gold Coast and Tuesday and Friday to Northern Rivers NSW. Order before 2pm the day prior to delivery.
How is the seafood packed for delivery?
All orders are packed in insulated cooler bags with frozen gel packs. Chilled items travel at 0–4°C; frozen items arrive at –18°C or colder.
Can I pickup my order instead of delivery?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and collect from our Gold Coast facility during business hours.
