Browse all productsAbout our sushi
Fresh sushi made daily by our in-house sushi team using premium Tasman Star seafood — Tasmanian Atlantic salmon, yellowfin tuna, kingfish, prawns, snapper, crab and more. We stock classic maki rolls, hand rolls (temaki), nigiri, sashimi-rice sets, inari pockets and sushi platters for sharing. Rice is cooked fresh, seasoned with traditional rice vinegar, and rolled with sushi-grade fish graded and cut the same morning. No frozen rolls, no overnight stock — every piece is at its prime. Ideal for a healthy, fast lunch on the Gold Coast or a show-stopping shared entrée for dinner guests. Office lunches in Bundall, Southport and Varsity Lakes, Bond Uni and Griffith Uni study breaks, and family shared-lunch platters in Broadbeach and Burleigh are our three biggest sushi use-cases — and our platters are sized for each of them.
Storage
Eat sushi the same day it is made — ideally within 4 hours of delivery. Keep chilled at 4°C if you must hold it. Rice texture degrades rapidly.
Serving
Serve sushi at cool room temperature with wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger. A full platter feeds 4–6 as a shared meal; 2–3 pieces per person make an entrée.
Frequently asked questions
Is your sushi fish sushi-grade?
Yes — all fish used for sushi and sashimi is graded and cut for raw consumption. Salmon is parasite-tested Tasmanian Atlantic; tuna is sashimi-grade Yellowfin.
Can you cater sushi platters for a function?
Yes. Order custom sushi platters at least 24 hours in advance. We deliver to Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Mon/Tue/Fri.
Do you offer vegetarian sushi?
Yes — avocado rolls, cucumber rolls and inari pockets are on the standard menu. Custom vegetarian platters available on request.
How long does sushi keep after delivery?
Best within 4 hours of delivery. Sushi rice hardens and fish quality degrades rapidly — plan to eat it as a same-day meal.
How much sushi do I need for an office lunch or team meeting?
For a working lunch (sushi as the main meal), allow 10–12 pieces per person. For a morning-tea or meeting platter (sushi as a share), allow 5–6 pieces per person. A 40-piece platter handles 4 as lunch or 7–8 as a shared snack. Most Bundall, Southport and Varsity Lakes office orders are 60, 80 or 120 pieces — we deliver Tuesday and Friday and can time the drop to the start of your meeting.
Do you deliver to the Gold Coast?
Yes — we deliver fresh seafood across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers every Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Order before 2pm the day prior to delivery.
How is the seafood packed for delivery?
All orders are packed in insulated cooler bags with frozen gel packs. Chilled items travel at 0–4°C; frozen items arrive at –18°C or colder.
Can I pickup my order instead of delivery?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and collect from our Gold Coast facility during business hours.
Are your seafood products Australian?
Wherever possible, yes. Every product clearly labels its country of origin. We prioritise Australian-sourced seafood from Queensland, NSW and Tasmanian fisheries.
